Power & Torque: the Akrapovic Evolution delivers increased power and torque throughout nearly the entire rpm range of the Yamaha. The engine will be more responsive at every point in the range, and the system delivers a lot more power at the top end. At 11670 rpm we measured 36.5 HP.
It’s not just about peak power-Akrapovič exhaust systems deliver increased performance throughout the entire rpm range. Increased power and torque result in a much smoother ride. All Akrapovič exhaust system measurements are made on our computer-controlled flowbenches.

CONFIGURATION
The Akrapovic Evolution system is composed of a conical titanium header tube and link pipe. The header tube and link pipe are joined with a sleeve joint secured with a silicon-shielded spring. The link pipe is welded to the muffler. The material for the inlet cap and perforated inner sleeve are dependent on the material used for the link pipe (Evolution: titanium link pipe – titanium inlet cap and perforated inner sleeve). The outlet cap is made of carbon-fiber. The HEXAGONAL muffler is attached to the bike with an Akrapovic offroad carbon-fiber clamp. The system is also available with an optional Akrapovic carbon-fiber heat shield. For the European and other markets it comes with a built-in noise damper, and for the American market it comes with an approved spark arrester, which is marked with a laser engraving on the muffler.
